birthday sex.... is it really a well worth it gift???

so, today me and some of my colleagues got into a heated discussion about the song "birthday sex" by jeremih. now, i say there is nothing wrong with one engaging in sexual escapades on one's birthday but really listen to the lyrics....

"it's you birthday so i kno you want to ride out..."
i would think ohhhh... where are we going???

"even if we only go to my house"
i would think darn i guess...

"sip mo-ezzy as we sit upon my couch"
i would think moet is expensive... maybe he did go all out for my special day???

"feels good, but i kno you want to cry out..."
me: cry about what?? i'm happy...

"you say you want passion, i think you found it"
me: where is this headed jeremih???

"get ready for action, don't be astounded"
me: baby, i thought you said you had a surprise for me??

"we switching positions, you feel surrounded"
me thinking: i do feel surrounded

"tell me where you want your gift girl.."
me: over on that table right there... WAIT is this my gift???

then he goes into this whole tirade of how he has been feenin for this and dreaming about this for like almost forever... and how you don't need candles or cake to make good birthday sex....

THIS HAS TO BE THE CHEAPEST GIFT KNOWN TO MAN!!!!

not to say that a female is materialistic but, a gift could use a little more creativity... like a handmade card... {you kno the kind with little redeemable coupons}... or maybe he could've made dinner with that moet... or maybe spice things up by taking her elsewhere... but, birthday sex at his house {which probably happens there at a regular basis... smh} is not goin to be the memorable gift i think you were goin for... {sigh}

well... thats all i have to rant about for now... ttyl!!!!
